Engagement Session – Sally and Alex

Engagement Session

Engagement Session season is upon us and are always so much fun!  It is your time to get to know your Wedding Photographer who you will be spending a lot of time with during your wedding. Sally and Alex were so much fun!  Alex is a local musician and small business owner, Sally is a teacher. Sally and Alex have so much energy together.  I have actually known Alex for almost 24 years.  My husband has known him since he was a teenager. Sally is from Colorado where I grew up.  We connected immediately when I first met her.  She is like family to me. Sally reminds me of one of my nieces in appearance, mannerisms, even her laughter.  As a rule, I usually do not photograph friends weddings but these two are more like family to me and I was really excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding which is this May!

Always take advantage of a engagement session when they are included in your Wedding Photography collection.  You want to look for this when you are searching for your wedding photographer.  Your engagement session is a dry run before your wedding day and gives you a chance to feel comfortable being photographed. It also gives you a chance to make a connection with your wedding photography team ensuring great imagery on your wedding day!

Alex and Sally’s Engagement Session was photographed at McDowell Nature Center and Preserve.  It is a great place for a family outing, there are lots of hiking trails, you can rent a canoe or kayak to get out onto the lake, there are some great fishing spots and they have a playground and picnic areas. Camping is also available in this beautiful location and they are pet friendly!  It is located on Lake Wylie in South Carolina.
